This is my first post of my new website! A new start for my photography blog. And it’s not just a blog anymore since I’ve updated the gallery pages.
I flipped again through my archives in Lightroom. This is a photography I took four years ago. Time flies. Anyway I was very busy these last days with the development of this new website. Rebuilding it from scratch was a little challenge. Now that I have my very own design and code that will be much more easier to work on it. Some kind of continuous improvement. All my previous posts should be there without any loss, I’ve double-checked!

Just flipping through my archives of Raw files in Lightroom… three years ago.

I took this picture in Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, a lovely village in Bourgogne (Burgundy). It was in May 2011. And for lunch the restaurant was just awesome! Being French and visiting France as a tourist is sometimes funny, and perhaps a good way to speak English with tourists from abroad here in France, where all TV series and a lot of movies are dubbed. By the way, when writing this blog post I have just learned we say “second-hand store” for “brocante” in English.

I took this picture in autumn, I would say it is my preferred season. At the very end of october where we can still feel the last remaining lights of summer. A time to think, a time to walk, a kind of soft and gentle melancholia.

I took this picture by a sunny spring day in May 2010 in Bourgogne (Burgundy). It was the end of the day, when light begins to dim and becomes like gold. I must say I cannot wait for spring. In Paris today and yesterday were our first sunny days after weeks and weeks of pure absolute greyscale weather. Days are already becoming longer.
