Voici la troisième photographie de mon thème sur les souvenirs. Un motif végétal plus abstrait qui me fait penser au développement de la mémoire. Au fil des ramifications, certains souvenirs sont saillants, dans la lumière, d’autres sont plus lointains, dans le flou et l’ombre. Mais tout peut apparaître dans une harmonie globale. Peut-être aurez-vous remarqué que je commence à accoler le nom Pilatus à mon nom de famille de naissance, Perrin. Frédéric Perrin-Pilatus est le nom d’artiste que j’ai choisi. Il s’agit du nom de famille du côté de ma mère, un retour vers des racines familiales. Et en quelque sorte une nouvelle naissance, à un moment où je démarre mon activité d’artiste-auteur ! Moi qui a tant de difficultés avec les choses concrètes et administratives : mon statut est créé et lancé 🥳

Memories III. Burgundy, France, May 2023

This is the third post in my theme of memories. An abstract plant pattern that reminds me of the development of memory. As the branches grow, some memories stand out, in the light, others are further away, in the blur and shadow. If we learn to see the whole picture, everything can appear as an overall harmony. You may have noticed that I’m beginning to add the name Pilatus to my family name of birth, Perrin. Frédéric Perrin-Pilatus is the artist’s name I have chosen. This is the maiden name of my mother, a return to my family roots. And in a way, it’s like a new birth for me, at a time when I’m starting out as an artist! I must admit I usually have so many difficulties with practical and administrative things, but now I’ve created my status as an artist (the exact French status is: artist-author) 🥳
